As events have proven, the ‘hippies’, the ‘oddballs’, the ‘radicals’ were correct. Stay out of other peoples civil wars. It was love of their country and love of the world that propelled the Anti-Vietnam War movement. Although far too complex to categorize, and war-mongers will say things could have turned out differently, that America could have ‘won’, misses the point.
History is history, not ‘what ifs’.
It remains one of the finest examples of mass-awakening in history.

Because people disagree, the come up with different ideas, which lead to new ideas. If humans were to agree on everything from now on, we would be extinct in a century from some kind of disease or problem we couldn’t solve. Acceptance is agreeing, so if you accept the solution given, then no new ones would be made. Disagreements are necessary evils.

@JBoocher @JBoocher , if everyone would agree, we wouldn’t be in need of radical changes. We wouldn’t need to adapt since everyone would be equal in order to make it work. Envy wouldn’t even be a word, nor would greed, nor hate. The only possible problem would be overpopulation, but since everyone would agree how to solve that problem, it’d vanish, in one way or another.

I hate to say it but there will always need to be a military, or there will always need to be one as long as people continue to not think exactly the same. The only way that we could live in your utopia is if everyone lived in peace, and the only way for that to happen is if everyone agreed. Also, if everyone agreed, there would be no evolution, we would still have the old ways, no radical changes for the better of the population. War is horrible, war is advancement, war is human.

The thing that bothers me the most is when the real concept .. wich is greed is hidden behind words like terrorism o comunismn….
